LinkedIn Stories
LinkedIn Stories is a new feature. It that enables LinkedIn members and admins of LinkedIn pages to post images and 20 second video clips. Video is key in social media. A few people I know are unsure of WHAT type of content would be appropriate.
Therefore, I made this video.
Some ideas for content
I see this as an opportunity for you to showcase the business insights that you have. What about the many professional experiences that you have had? Others in your peer group could benefit from them.
Many of us have listed personal skills on our profile pages. Therefore, how about showing the implications of one or two of those skills in a short series of 20 second videos?
How does LinkedIn stories work?
Creating and posting Stories is only supported from the mobile or table devices and will remain live for 24 hours. During that time, you can get insights as to who has viewed your content. They are viewable to your connections and followers (people who have opted to follow rather than connect). You can also share your Story directly with another LinkedIn member that you are connected to. Do this by selecting the 3 dots in the top right corner of a live story you have posted, then select “send in a private message”.

In summary
Give some thought right now as to what content you can post. My view is that posting content on LinkedIn stories should take more preparation time than doing the same task on the other social media story platforms.
