Snapchat ‘Bit my letters goodbye’
Snapchat is saying goodbye to letters, which means that emojis and bitmojis are taking on a more important role. From now on Snapchat wants you to use emoji’s and bitmojis to tell a story instead of words.

Say It With Emojis
There is an online dictionary with the meaning of many of the emojis. From a green apple to a tiger, to the flag of the US, you name it! Every single emoji has a meaning! Where you can find this amazing dictionary? Right here http://snapchatemojis.com
If you want to give different emojis to your best friends, you must go to settings and update your preferences and friend-emojis. Now instead of giving your Snapchat BFF a red heart, you can now give them a purple devil as an emoji.
Say It With Bitmojis
Bitmojis are like emojis but more personal. It’s you in a virtual way. Facebook worked with these for a while but it never took off. Now Snapchat has made them quite popular. All you have to do is download the Bitmoji app in the App Store or in Google Play and then the fun begins. Create yourself the way you want and snap away. You can send a bitmoji of yourself riding a unicorn to your friends and they can send a bitmoji statue of themselves right back! So do not postpone this feature until tomorrow, do it today! #SnapchatGoals

The Snapchat interface has changed but don’t panic, the changes are described here to make our Snapping lives easier!
- Search
At the top of every screen you now see a ‘search engine’. Find your friends in an easier way, add new followers with just one click or find your best friend’s story in 2 seconds.
- Your Bitmoji
What you’ll also notice is that your bitmoji is in the top left corner of every screen right next to the search function, lurking around ready to be used. If you click your bitmoji’s head you will directly go to the bitmoji menu and you’ll be able to edit your virtual self. - Zoom With One Hand
The feature we’ve all been waiting for, without actually knowing we were waiting for it is the ‘zoom-with-one-hand’. Press the round button and start filming, while filming move your finger upwards over the screen without releasing. And this way you can zoom in and out with just one hand! No more fidgeting with those uncoordinated fingers! - Say it with a blowfish!
When you’ve had an amazing dinner you can send a blowfish instead of a long sentence telling your followers you are full. No more using both hands to type a message, one little fish is all you need. Just one of the many examples on how emoji’s are making our hurried lives easier.
- Shazam on Snapchat
Oh yes, you read that correctly. You can now use Shazam while you’re in Snapchat. All you have to do is hold your phone where the music is, press with one finger on your camera screen, hold it, let it load and voila there you have the song you were looking for!
